Volunteers Needed This Saturday!
Volunteers are needed for this Saturday's Ward 5 Clean & Green Make A Difference Day event! Please call my office at 229-5443 for more information and to volunteer.  We'll be working together from 8 a.m. to noon to help others rid their homes of unwanted items and clean up our community.

All Las Vegas residents are encouraged to bring their recyclable items, electronic discards, documents to be shredded, hazardous materials (batteries, oil, paints), and any bulk trash (broken furniture, mattresses, etc.) to Lorenzi Park on Saturday.  Recycling areas will be located in the parking lots, accessed from West Washington Avenue.

Republic Services will be present to collect recyclable materials, large trash and hazardous wastes. The Blind Center of Southern Nevada will accept and recycle discarded electronic items and computer parts. Bring up to five boxes per car of your personal papers that need shredding for The Opportunity Village shredding truck to dispose of for you. There is no charge for these services, so please take advantage of the opportunity to lessen your load and keep our community clean.
