Residents Invited To Free Shredding Event Saturday
Event Offers A Way For Residents To Keep From Becoming Victims Of Identify Theft By Safely Destroying Unwanted, Sensitive Documents

Ward 6 Councilman Steven D. Ross invites residents to bring their unwanted documents to a free shredding event from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Centennial Hills Active Adult Center parking lot located at 6601 N. Buffalo Drive. The event is free. There is a limit of five boxes of unwanted documents per vehicle.

“This is a safe and convenient way to get rid of old documents,” said Councilman Ross, who represents this area of Ward 6. “Shredding unwanted documents that contain personal or financial information can also help you avoid identity theft. I encourage everyone to attend.”
