Construction Of Pedestrian Ramps To Close South Side Of Oakey Boulevard And Arville Street Intersection
Impacts to Traffic Starting Wednesday


Starting at 7 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, and continuing through the morning of Saturday, April 13, Arville Street will be closed to through traffic between Oakey Boulevard and Sahara Avenue for construction of sidewalk ramps on the south side of the intersection of Oakey and Arville.  Residential traffic will be allowed into the area at Sahara, but traffic will not be allowed to go through the south side of the Oakey and Arville intersection. 

The construction is necessary to bring the existing ramps into federal compliance.

Valley View and Decatur are recommended as alternative routes.

Drew Asphalt is the contractor. City staff is overseeing the construction. Funding for this project is provided by the city of Las Vegas.
