Registration Now Open For 2013 Helldorado Evening Parade
First 120 Qualified Applications Will Be Accepted

Applications now are being accepted for participation in the 2013 Helldorado evening parade. Floats, equestrian units, marching bands, performers, car clubs, motorcycle clubs, individual motorized vehicles, walking groups and other types of entries are welcome to participate. Entries should be themed on the traditions of past Helldorado Days, what Helldorado Days mean now, and/or the birthday of the city of Las Vegas. Each entry will be judged on appearance, theme and creativity. Participants will be notified after the parade if their entries won.

The parade will start downtown at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 18, and is expected to last approximately two hours. The parade route heads north on Fourth Street from Gass to Ogden avenues. There is no fee to participate. The application with parade rules can be downloaded from the city’s website at and should be submitted no later than Monday, April 29. The first 120 qualified applications will be accepted. For more information on the Helldorado parade, call (702) 229-6672.

The 2013 Helldorado Days celebration and rodeo will be held May 16-19 on the downtown rodeo grounds, located between Stewart and Mesquite avenues, Las Vegas Boulevard and 7th Street, as in past years.  The Helldorado Pro Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) rodeo will immediately follow the parade Saturday evening. Helldorado rodeo tickets can be purchased, and all event information can be found at
