Fiscal Year 2015-2016 NPF APPLICATION CYCLE
The FY 2015-2016 NPF application cycle will open on Monday, Feb. 9, 2015.  Paper applications are no longer accepted.

  • Applicants must submit their NPF grant project proposals through An applicant’s FIRST ACCESS to during the application cycle must be made via the City of Las Vegas’ “Access the FY2015-2016 NPF Online…” link, listed below.
  • will ask applicants to set up username and passwords.  Applicants must then complete, submit and wait for approval of an eight-question Pre-Application.   Approval notification of the pre-application will be received via email.  Applicants will be allowed to complete the rest of the application if approval notification is received.
  • Applicants will be able to access directly after the initial setup procedure.  They will no longer need to go to the city’s Website to access

Applications must be submitted by Thursday, April 16, 2015 (11:59 p.m.), the NPF cycle deadline.

The Neighborhood Partners Fund (NPF) is designed to assist in improving the livability of city neighborhoods through community matched funding for neighborhood improvement projects. The NPF program grants up to $5,000, which must be matched by the neighborhood with cash, volunteer labor, donated supplies, equipment or professional services. When residents volunteer for improvement projects, they meet their neighbors and work side by side. Communication improves, relationships are formed and community spirit is developed. Such is the impact of this type of small grants neighborhood funding.

Neighborhood associations, homeowners association or business associations whose primary purpose is neighborhood improvement must:

  • Be located within the city of Las Vegas.
  • Be registered with the Office of Community Services (projects need to be implemented within the registered neighborhood's boundaries).
  • Have a majority of the association’s members living or operating businesses in the neighborhood.
  • • Demonstrate neighborhood support for the proposed project / program.

After the submission deadline, applications will be reviewed for basic requirements and eligibility. The applications will be further evaluated by the Neighborhood Partners Fund (NPF) Board, whose 13 members are appointed by the Mayor and City Council.  All applicants will be required to make a 10-minute presentation of their projects to the NPF Board. Download the NPF Applicant Program Overview/Schedule EXHIBIT to review application cycle timeline.  Applicants should be available to make their presentation on one of the Board meeting days: June 1 or 8, 2015 between 2 to 5 p.m.

Funding recommendations from the NPF board on these projects will be presented to the Mayor and City Council for final approval at the July 15, 2015, City Council meeting. Recipients will sign project agreements during Orientation and Training on July 21, 2015.  The NPF grant funding year will begin after July 21, 2015 and end June 22, 2016.
