Road Closures On Grand Teton and Shady Pines In Northwest Las Vegas Due To Flooding
Motorists Advised To Take Farm Road

Due to additional rainfall today, portions of Grand Teton Drive east of U.S. 95 and Shady Pines Drive are once again experiencing flash flooding this evening. Street flooding is expected to continue this evening, and is expected to last into Tuesday.

Motorists should avoid Grand Teton between Durango and Rainbow, and take Farm Road as an alternate route.

City crews have been working on cleanup throughout the afternoon and evening, and will mobilize early in the morning to continue to clean up the streets affected by today’s rains. Crews expect to continue with cleanup efforts throughout the week. However, additional rainfall could delay progress.

City crews also are cleaning up following street flooding in the area of Eastern and St. Louis avenues.

Thanks to a major public works project over the last year, the stretch of Grand Teton west of U.S. 95 is clear.
