The following lane closures will be in effect Sunday nights through Friday mornings, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., June 9-27:
- Single-lane closure on westbound Sahara Avenue, east of Rancho Drive between the I-15 off-ramp and Rancho Drive;
- Single-lane closure on northbound Rancho Drive between Sahara Avenue and the office building driveway on the east side of Rancho Drive (the first right south of El Camino);
- Single-lane closure on northbound Rancho Drive between U.S. 95 and Washington Avenue.
There also will be a single-lane closure on northbound Rancho Drive between Alta Drive and West Mesquite Avenue between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday-Friday, June 9-13.
Motorists are advised to use Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard or Valley View Boulevard as alternate routes for north/south travel, and Charleston Boulevard as an east/west travel alternative.
These lane closures are necessary to install traffic signal improvements as part of the infrastructure improvement project that began in April on Rancho Drive from Sahara to Rainbow Boulevard, and continues through November 2014. This $3.1 million project is being funded by the Regional Transportation Commission and Nevada Department of Transportation.
