New Traffic Signal To Be Activated At Bridger And First Street Monday Morning
New Signal Part Of Ongoing Downtown Bicycle And Pedestrian Improvements

The city of Las Vegas will activate a new traffic signal at Bridger and First Street in downtown Las Vegas after peak morning traffic has passed on Monday, May 5, around 9 a.m.

The signal was constructed by Las Vegas Electric as part of ongoing downtown pedestrian and bicycle safety improvements on First Street. This project is managed by the city of Las Vegas, and completed as part of a contract with Las Vegas Paving.

The new signal is designed to provide safer and more efficient passage for pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists and transit passengers as the downtown area continues to see new development.
