Condo Fire Is Under Investigation
Three Condo Units Damaged by Fire on City’s Eastside

Las Vegas and Clark County firefighters responded to 4244 Brockton Green Court (Lamb/E. Charleston) at 5:34 p.m. Monday after fire dispatchers received multiple calls that a condo unit was on fire.

When firefighters arrived heavy fire was showing on the patio between two units, one unit at 4244 Brockton Green Court and 48 Village Green Court. Firefighters  were also told that a two year old child might be inside one of the units.

Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire on the patio, but when they checked the attic space between the units, they found the fire had spread to units at 48 Village Green Court and 50 Village Green Court. It took firefighters about 30 minutes to bring the entire fire under control.

The three units sustained moderate to heavy fire and smoke damage. Another condo at 4245 Wales Green Lane sustained moderate smoke damage.

There were no injuries in connection with the incident. The missing two year old was later found at a neighbor’s.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. A damage estimated was not immediately available. A number of people are displaced because of the fire. The American Red Cross was responding to determine exactly how many people would need assistance that live in the four condos.
