The two events that city staff will be assisting with are a swim meet and track meet. The swim meet is scheduled for Monday, April 7, at 10 am. at the UNLV MPE McDermott Buildings Pool, located at 901 E. Harmon Ave. The track meet is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, at Rancho High School, located at 1900 Searles Ave.

Through the city's Adaptive Recreation Division, community-based therapeutic recreation services provide opportunities for individuals to become and to stay active in the community. Individuals of all ages and ability levels will find a variety of recreational activities to enrich their leisure time. The city is part of the Paralympic Sports Club of Las Vegas, a community partnership between the city of Las Vegas and the Clark County School District.
