Keep Las Vegas Beautiful Hosts Earth Day Art Contest For Students
Contest Entries Must Be Received By 4:30 p.m. April 11


Keep Las Vegas Beautiful, in partnership with the Clark County School District School-Community Partnership Program and Republic Services, will host the fourth annual “Earth Day Every Day” Art Contest for students in elementary, middle and high schools. 

The contest will culminate at an award ceremony during the "sus•tain•a•ble" Earth Day event April 26 at Town Square, 6605 Las Vegas Boulevard South. Cash prizes, sponsored by Republic Services, will be awarded to the top three winning students of each age group and their teachers. Artwork submitted by both winners and runners up will also be part of a Youth Earth Day art display at the Town Square event and later displayed at City Hall.

Keep Las Vegas Beautiful, a chapter of Keep America Beautiful, is comprised of representatives from the city of Las Vegas, Republic Services of Southern Nevada, the Clark County School District, the University of Nevada Las Vegas Rebel Recycling Program, UNR Cooperative Extension, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the Southern Nevada Graffiti Coalition, United Way of Southern Nevada, Outdoor Las Vegas Foundation, the Bureau of Land Management, the Nevada Department of Environmental Protection, and Green Our Planet.
