City Of Las Vegas Father’s Day Happenings 2013
Celebrate Father’s Day With These Fun And Diverse Activities For All Ages


All activities are subject to change. Most programs at senior centers and active adult centers require a $2 annual membership in the city of Las Vegas Senior Citizen Programs, available at all city of Las Vegas senior and active adult centers.

Father’s Game Day Social (ages 50+)
Thursday, June 13, 1 p.m. Advance registration required.
Cost: $1 per person.
Doolittle Senior Center, 1930 N. J St., (702) 229-6125.
Take time out to show appreciation for fathers by joining in on their fun day of games and appetizers. Call 229-6125 to register in advance. Space is limited.

Ward 3 Get Fit For Life Father’s Day Family Fun Festival (all ages)
Saturday, June 15, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Free admission.
East Las Vegas Community Center, 250 N. Eastern Ave., (702) 229-1515.
Join Councilman Bob Coffin, the Ventanilla de Salud Program and the Nevada Youth Alliance for free health screenings, vaccinations, diabetes checks, blood pressure checks, flu shots, eye examinations, massages, Zumba and more. More than 40 organizations are participating. Enjoy live music, raffles and light refreshments, too. Bring shot records if you intend to be vaccinated. See the fliers in English and Spanish.

Dear Ol’ Dad’s Day (all ages)
Sunday, June 16, noon to 6 p.m.
Cost: $1 for ages 4-17, $2 ages 18-49, $1.50 ages 50+; father is free when accompanied by his child.
