New Signage To Brand 18B Arts District
Fifty New Metallic Banner Signs To Adorn Streetlights In Arts District

Work is under way on the installation of new metallic streetlight banner signs that will help to brand the 18B Arts District. Approximately 50 of the metal signs that are four feet long by 18 inches wide will be installed in the area bounded by Fourth Street to the west, Colorado Avenue to the north, Hoover Avenue to the south and Commerce Street to the east.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of the summer, and is designed to enhance the fast-growing arts district and popular events like First Friday.

The signs feature the 18B logo and the words “Arts District.” They will be hung from streetlights in the area to help give the Arts District a sense of place. In addition to the new signage, 17 additional streetlights will also be installed in the district, with the majority on Charleston between Fourth and Commerce streets.

The contractor on the $350,000 project is Las Vegas Electric.
