Councilman Steven D. Ross To Host Community Events
Free Movie In the Park And Document Shredding Among Upcoming Ward 6 Events


Ward 6 Councilman Steven D. Ross is hosting two upcoming events for the community.

On Saturday, April 13, Councilman Ross will host a shredding event for citizens from 10 a.m. until noon at the Centennial Hills Active Adult Center, located at 6601 N. Buffalo Drive. Those looking to have documents destroyed can bring up to five boxes per vehicle to the Centennial Hills Active Adult Center parking lot. Opportunity Village will also be collecting gently used clothing items.

On Friday, April 19, the community is invited to join the councilman for a free movie in the park at the Centennial Hills Park Amphitheatre, located at 7101 N. Buffalo Drive. The PG-rated family film, “The Odd Life of Timothy Green” at 6:30 p.m.

Families are encouraged to bring blankets, folding chairs and picnics  to the park. Refreshments will be available for purchase from Slidin’ Thru.
