Free Shredding Event At Centennial Corporate Center Nov. 10
Ward 4 Residents Invited To Bring Their Unwanted Documents To Be Shredded

Las Vegas Mayor Pro Tem Stavros S. Anthony invites Ward 4 residents to bring their unwanted documents for shredding Saturday, Nov. 10, to the Centennial Corporate Center parking lot, beginning at 10 a.m. The center is located at 5550 Painted Mirage Road, across from the Painted Desert golf course. Free shredding services will be provided by Opportunity Village, and volunteers will be available to unload materials from cars.  Shredding services will be available until noon or the truck capacity is reached.

“Shredding unwanted documents that contain personal or financial information is recommended to avoid identity theft,” Mayor Pro Tem Anthony said. “Rather than spend tedious hours doing it alone at home, just take a couple minutes while you are out doing your other Saturday errands to stop by and watch it all be shredded in moments.”

The free event is sponsored by Mayor Pro Tem Anthony. Up to five boxes or bundles of unwanted documents will be accepted from each vehicle. Free refreshments will be offered while supplies last. Opportunity Village also will accept donations of gently used household goods and clothing items during the event.
