An Annual Facility Permit is a more convenient alternative to the traditional permit process for qualified Facilities to make alterations to an already approved building, electric, mechanical and/or plumbing installation.  Once the initial application (Master Permit) is approved and an escrow deposit is paid, the applicant will be able to register online for the individual permits on work to be performed. Hourly inspection fees associated to the permit will be withdrawn from the escrow account.  Any balance funds that are unused upon expiration of the permit may be returned to the permit holder or applied to a future Annual Facility Permit.  Program details


  • Annual Facility Permits may be issued for:
    • A building classified as a high-rise building with an R-Occupancy
    • A building licensed as a Resort Hotel; or
    • Other buildings as deemed appropriate by the Building Official
  • The applicant must hold a valid and active:
    • Nevada State Contractors License covering the scope of work authorized by the permit
    • City of Las Vegas business license


  • Administrative issuance fee: $500
  • Escrow deposit: $10,000
